I am a developer in Ballymena, and before that I spent eight years as a group general manager in hospitality, running multiple properties.
That is an unusual route into software, and it is the reason people hire me. I have worked night audit. I have covered a shift when someone did not turn up. I have used Opera, Rezlynx, Cloudbeds, Newbook and Brilliant, and been let down by all of them in different ways.
So when a hotel tells me their rate management is a nightmare, or a salon owner tells me deposits are killing her, I am not nodding along and googling it afterwards.
I build with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Supabase and Stripe. I work directly with clients, there is no account manager in between, and I do not take on more work than I can personally deliver.
Currently building: Glow, a booking platform for UK beauty technicians, and Arrivé, a property management system for independent hotels.
